Maybe you don't have to pay tax now !

Budget 2019:

If  you earn less than Rs 5 L /Year, then you  DO NOT need to pay tax  & individual  with gross income up to Rs 6.50 L/ Year, also don't have to pay tax if they have enough planned investments ( Like: PF, Approved Equity Schemes). 


Union minister Mr. Piyush Goyal declared ,individual taxpayers having a yearly income of up to INR 5 L will get 100% REBATE


Notable Points:

# Small farmers will get Rs 6 K yearly support from govt.

# IT returns will be processed within 24 hours.

# Standard deduction for salaried person has been raised to Rs 50,000 ( Previously it was INR. 40,000)

# Exemption on TDS on interest earned from bank, post office savings raised to 40,000 ( Previously it was INR. 10,000)

# TDS threshold on rental income has been raised to Rs 2.4 L ( Previously it was INR.1.8 L)
